The Ainohot Volt, answered.
How far can the Ainohot Volt go on a single charge?
The manufacturer rates the 48V 13Ah (624Wh) battery at 28 to 31 miles. Real range depends on rider weight, hills, temperature and how hard you ride.
How long does the Volt take to charge?
About 7 hours from empty with the included charger, so overnight or during a work day.
What is the top speed of the Volt?
18.6 mph from the 500W rear motor, which keeps it in the range most bike lanes allow.
What makes the Volt different from other electric scooters?
The wheels. A 20-inch front and 16-inch rear on magnesium alloy rims roll over cracks and potholes that stop small-wheel commuters, and the extra-wide deck gives a natural standing position. It also carries a rear rack for cargo.
What is the rider weight limit?
264 lbs.
Does the Volt have lights and brakes for city riding?
Yes. A 50 lux headlight, an LED tail light, and front and rear disc brakes.
Does the Volt fold?
Yes. The stem folds so it fits in a car trunk or a hallway.
Can I test ride the Ainohot Volt before buying?
Yes. Wilson's keeps the Volt on the floor. Walk into any of our stores, no appointment needed.
Is the warranty handled by Wilson's?
Yes. The Volt carries a one-year warranty on manufacturing defects. Wilson's manages the claim and our technicians do the work in our shops.
Where can I get the Volt serviced?
At any Wilson's repair shop. A simple inspection is free, and repairs are quoted from our price list.
