It speeds up cell degradation, confuses the BMS, and then shows up as sudden range loss, slow charging, thermal cutoffs mid-ride, and packs that swell or refuse to charge at all. Add UV-baked throttle housings, cracked display lenses and dried-out tire sidewalls, and altogether heat stress is the most Southern California repair we do.

Our heat-stress service load-tests your pack cell group by cell group, then checks the BMS and charge circuitry, inspects connectors and wiring for heat damage, and replaces what's past saving with certified, brand-appropriate parts. Battery testing is from $50 and comes off the bill if the repair is over $100. If your ride lives outdoors, in a garage that bakes, or in a car trunk between commutes, ask us about heat-smart charging and storage during any repair. It's the cheapest insurance in this climate.
