IPX7 water-resistant batteries under a smart management system with six layers of protection, UL-certified for years of worry-free charging. One battery is 3000W and 56 miles; add the second and the Xyber doubles to 6000W and 112 miles. The 10 A charger refills a pack in about 3.7 hours.

Segway Xyber questions

How fast does the Xyber go?

It is delivered at 20 mph. The Segway Mobility App can raise that to 35 mph, and with both batteries installed the Xyber reaches 43 mph. It is designed for off-road use only.

Is it legal on the road?

Segway designs the Xyber for off-road use only. Check your local rules before riding anywhere else.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 56 miles on one battery and up to 112 miles with two. Assist level, rider weight, terrain and temperature change that.

How powerful is it?

3000W and 120 Nm with one battery, 6000W and 175 Nm with two. 0 to 20 mph takes 2.7 seconds.

Can I add the second battery myself?

No. Segway requires a certified dealer to install the second battery. We do it in the shop.

How long does it take to charge?

About 3.7 hours per battery with the 10 A charger.

What brakes does it have?

Hydraulic discs: a four-piston caliper on a 220 mm rotor up front and a two-piston caliper on 180 mm at the rear.

What suspension does it have?

110 mm of dual-crown front travel and 100 mm of rear travel with 5-stage quick adjustment.

Can I carry a passenger?

No. The Xyber is not designed to carry additional passengers.

Can the seat be raised?

No. The Xyber's seat is fixed.

How does it lock and track?

Drop the kickstand and AirLock engages the electric and mechanical locks; it unlocks as you approach. GPS and Apple Find My track its location. Enhanced connected services are free the first year, then by subscription.

Is it waterproof?

The batteries and display are rated IPX7 and the body IPX5. Ride in the rain, but do not pressure wash it, and never charge a wet or damaged battery.

What car rack do I need?

A vehicle rack rated for at least 160 lbs per tray for the Xyber.

What accessories are available?

Hard-shell and soft-shell in-frame storage bags, a phone clamp and the second battery.

Can I test ride it first?

Yes. Come to any of our shops and sit on it before you decide.

Does it come with a warranty and financing?

One year on the brands we carry, handled in our shops. Financing is available on approved credit in the shop or at checkout.
