What changes when the shop designs the ride.
Most stores relay a claim to somebody else’s warranty department. On our own line there is no somebody else.
Motor, controller, pack, brakes and tires were chosen by the people who service them every day, at six shops in New York and California. That is why the MX40 carries a premium LG pack and the MX37 four-piston hydraulic brakes.
Batteries, controllers, brake parts and tires for every model, stocked at every shop instead of ordered from a distributor. A repair on a Wilson’s-designed ride does not wait for a box.

What is Wilson's own line?
The rides we design ourselves and sell under our own name: the MX35, MX37 and MX40 electric dirt bikes and the Mosquito electric scooter. We specify every part, keep the parts on the shelf at all six shops, and service them with our own technicians.
Which Wilson's electric dirt bike is the fastest?
The MX40, at 40 mph on a 3000W rated, 4500W max motor and a 58.8V 25Ah LG pack, with up to 38 miles of range. The MX37 does 37 mph with a mid-drive, hydraulic four-piston brakes and dual suspension; the MX35 does 34 mph and is the most affordable way in.
MX37 or MX40: which one?
They spend the money in different places. The MX40 buys outright speed and the biggest battery, with a five-year warranty on the pack. The MX37 buys a mid-drive motor, four-piston hydraulic brakes on 203 mm discs and suspension at both ends, which suits rough and technical ground. Fast and open riding suits the MX40; technical riding suits the MX37.
What warranty comes with a Wilson's-designed ride?
Three years, because we designed it: year one covers parts and labor, years two and three cover labor with parts paid by you. The brands we carry get one year. Claims are handled at any of our six shops by our own technicians. The MX40's battery pack carries its own five-year warranty on top.
Can I test ride one before buying?
Yes. Walk into any of the six shops in New York and California, no appointment needed, and ride it. Corona in the Los Angeles area is our electric dirt bike shop.
Where can I ride an electric dirt bike?
Private land, and parks or trails where the owner allows it. Rules for public roads vary between states, towns and individual trails, so tell us where you live and where you plan to ride and we will tell you what applies before you spend anything.
Is the Mosquito really 29 lb?
Yes. It is the lightest ride we sell that still does over 25 mph, with a 48V 9.6Ah pack rated for 22 miles at a steady 15 mph, about 19 in mixed riding. It folds in seconds and carries on a built-in handle.
Can I buy online and pick it up in a shop?
Yes. Order online and collect at any of our six shops, or have it shipped free. Every model and colour is available both ways.
Who services a Wilson's-designed ride?
Our own technicians at all six shops, with express service at every one. Batteries, controllers, brakes and tires are stocked because we chose them. A simple inspection is always free.
