Riding’times GT54 Pro: pro-level power in a mini motorbike
The same 3000W peak, 338 Nm motor as the full-size GT73 Pro, in a frame with a 27.2 inch seat height that fits riders from 4’2” to 5’9”. A single 60V 25Ah quick-release battery gives it 62 miles, and it will hit 50 mph in its top gear.

The GT54 Pro is the small one that was not given the small motor. Riding’times took the 60V drivetrain from their flagship and fitted it to a mini-moto chassis on 14 and 12 inch motorcycle wheels, so a shorter rider, or anyone who wants a machine they can throw around, gets the full 338 Nm rather than a reduced version of it. It is the most fun-per-pound machine in the Riding’times range.
Three gears, from 15 mph to 50
The throttle has three speed settings, and Riding’times publish what each one does. The first gear caps the GT54 Pro at 15 mph, which is how a new or younger rider learns it. The second opens it to 28. The third is the full 50 mph, and it is the step up from the GT54, whose top gear stops at 40.
The gear is changed from the display, with no app or tool involved; ask in the shop if you want it walked through.
Riding’times measured the 50 mph figure with a 143 lb rider. In everyday riding they quote 34 to 40 mph depending on terrain, load and battery level.

Pro-level power for stronger performance
A 1500W rated hub motor with a 3000W peak and 338 Nm of torque, run by a 60V 40A vector sine wave controller. On a machine this light that torque translates into acceleration you feel in your shoulders, and into climbing that does not slow on the steep part.

A full-size battery in a compact machine
The 60V 25Ah pack is 1500 watt-hours, one of the largest fitted to any electric mini motorbike, and Riding’times rate it at up to 62 miles. It is a quick-release unit, so it lifts off to charge indoors and a second pack can be swapped in on a long day. A full charge takes eight to eight and a half hours on the 67.2V 3A charger supplied. The pack is UL 2849 compliant.

Adjustable hydraulic suspension
An adjustable-damping aluminium front fork with 8.3 inches of travel, and a rear shock rated at 1200 lbs. Both can be set firmer for pavement or softer for dirt, and we set them for the rider’s weight at handover. Under it sit motorcycle-sized 60/100-14 front and 60/100-12 rear tires, with 11 inches of clearance under the pedals so the frame clears what the wheels roll over.

Brake system
Hydraulic discs front and rear, with electronic brake assist from the motor for a faster first bite. Hydraulics give the same lever pressure the same stopping on the last descent of the day as on the first.
Smart display
A colour LED screen on the bars showing speed, battery, gear and trip data, readable in daylight. It is also where the three throttle gears are selected.
Comfort meets style
The shaped saddle is long enough to move around on, and the LED taillight is moulded into its tail so nothing protrudes.
Turn signals
Indicators are built into the taillight, so a driver behind you knows where you are going before you go there. LED headlight up front.
Light frame
A3 carbon steel with PA66 reinforced panels, finished in black with orange details. Light enough to be agile, rated to carry 265 lbs.
GT54 or GT54 Pro
Same frame, same wheels, same brakes and suspension. The Pro moves from 48V to 60V: more peak power, more torque, a faster top gear and a bigger charger. The GT54 tops out at 40 mph. Riders who have outgrown both should look at the full-size GT73 Pro.

Where the GT54 Pro ends up
Geometry, and who it fits
Riding’times recommend the GT54 Pro for riders from 4’2” to 5’9”. Its 27.2 inch seat is three inches lower than the GT73’s, which is the difference between tiptoes and flat feet for a lot of people. Taller riders should look at the GT73 Pro.
