"I went from the Bronx to this shop, about a 45-minute trip, but it was absolutely worth it. I had a problem with my GoTrax GX1 scooter, so I went to this shop. They helped me super fast, identified the problem as the display, and were able to get the new brakes working. All the work done in less than two days. Wow, incredible service, very friendly, and they make you feel like they appreciate you as a customer. I recommend them 100% 👏"Posted on Google

"Undoubtedly the best electric scooter repair shop in town. Great customer service, thank you so much for fixing my broken electric scooter! I couldn't be happier. Works perfectly. Thank you again, I will recommend you to all my friends!"Posted on Google
Fast diagnosis · Fair pricing
"The owner is very nice and can quickly find the problem. The price is also reasonable. Highly recommended."Posted on Google
Fixed: Control unit repair
"I took my father's scooter to get fixed — they were very straight forward with possible issues. It was a total of a 3 day turn around to fix the issue, which ended up being the control unit was damaged. I was told either they could fix my current control unit if possible or it would have to be replaced. Both options had different prices and they did not take advantage and try to upcharge — they ended up repairing my current control. Very honest and straightforward, definitely will come back if any other issues occur. Yes there is a slight language barrier but definitely not impossible to communicate with the shop owner."Posted on Google
Fixed: Brake repair · Honest pricing
"I had a fantastic experience at Wilson's E-Scooters & E-Bikes! When I dropped off my scooter, I was told the repair would cost $65. But when I came back to pick it up, he explained that the brake couldn't be fully fixed, so he only charged me $45 — exactly for the work he was able to do. That kind of honesty is rare these days. He's not just professional, but also genuinely cares about doing right by his customers. Highly recommended if you're looking for trustworthy and skilled service! I will definitely come back again."Posted on Google
Affordable scooters & repairs
"Amazing customer service and top notch scooters! This is definitely the place to go to if you're looking for an affordable scooter and repairs. Their prices are unbeatable and will always respond to questions that you have at almost any time of day/night. I refuse to go anywhere else after finding this place! They did not let me down! Also very big selection of scooters as well! Thanks so much!"Posted on Google
Fixed: Tires, rotor & hydraulic brakes
"Great shop. Awesome attentive staffing. Needed tires changed, rear rotor and brake pads, column clasp upgrade installed, rear hydraulic brake issue. Turns out only one part of the brake system was worn out and solved the issue — the brake pads were still good, so they're not out to grab all your money. They informed me to repair only what was needed. When I told him that I came from way out in Long Island he understood and had his 3 mechanics all attack my scooter at once and was done within the hour. Definitely a great place to visit for all your scooter needs without the hassle of driving all the way into the city and getting charged those excessive high prices."Posted on Google
Full scooter upgrade
"Wilson, the most professional scooter sales and repair shop in New York City, has 20 years of technical experience. He upgraded my scooter perfectly."Posted on Google
Fixed: Segway repair
"My Segway broke down. I asked many shops and they said they couldn't fix it. I was so tired that I was about to give up. I found Wilson and his team — fixed it within one day. I'm glad that New York City has such a professional scooter technical team."Posted on Google
Fixed: Rotors & brakes
"I came to Wilson's shop as a recommendation all the way from Long Island as a walk-in. I spoke with Alex, who is more than 100% accommodating — prices are very reasonable as compared to other places in the city. I needed to replace the rotors and have my brakes fixed. They took care of me and the work was 100% satisfactory. If you are ever in Forest Hills or Brooklyn, I recommend visiting Wilson's E Scooter and E Bike shop."Posted on Google
Fixed: Airless tire & controller repair
"Wilson's has fixed my scooter TWICE and both experiences were great. First time my back tire was flat (this was the 2nd time this has happened) — KQi3 Max Scooters have notoriously bad back tires that always go flat, something about how the rim is shaped/built. Wilson's replaced the tire with an airless tire so I'd never have to fill it again — genius fix, and they did it in about 30 minutes. In and out, same day. Then my scooter mysteriously stopped working — Wilson's quickly identified the problem as water corrosion of the controller and replaced it the next day. Easy peezy. The guy who works there doesn't speak a lot of English but uses a translator to make sure you understand him, and he's very good at what he does. He's also friendly. I will continue giving these guys my business."Posted on Google
Electric Scooter & E-Bike Repair in Queens, Explained
Five short reads on how we keep Queens and NYC riders rolling. First, pick a topic.
Electric Scooter Repair in Queens
Queens puts more punishment on an electric scooter than almost anywhere in America. First, potholes and steel plates on Queens Boulevard, Roosevelt Avenue, and Northern Boulevard blow tires and bend rims, curb hops rattle stems and connectors loose, glass and debris in the bike lanes cause constant punctures, and year-round riding through rain, slush, and road salt corrodes the electrical system from the outside in. That's why the most common e-scooter repair jobs at our shop are flat tires, brake service, no-power faults, and corrosion cleanup after a long New York winter.
Wilson's Queens flagship sits at 82-15 Queens Blvd in Elmhurst, steps from the Grand Av–Newtown M/R station, which makes us an easy trip for riders across the borough and beyond. Customers roll in from Jackson Heights, Corona, Rego Park, Forest Hills, and Woodside, ride over from Astoria, Ridgewood, and Long Island City, and even come from the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, because we're one of the only New York shops that keeps parts in stock for performance brands like Teverun, Nami, Kaabo, Segway, and Dualtron, not just entry-level commuters.
Every repair starts with a free simple inspection, including reading any error code on the display. From there, our technicians handle everything from a 15-minute brake adjustment to controller replacement, motor rebuilds and post-crash custom fabrication, like the custom stem brackets Jay's team has become known for.
Salt, Slush & Winter Damage Repair
New York winters are brutal on electric rides. Road salt and slush spray straight into connectors, controllers, displays and battery housings, and salt keeps eating at the metal long after the ride is over. The damage usually shows up weeks later as error codes, flickering displays, no-power faults, or a ride that cuts out in the rain. Add freezing temperatures that sap battery range and stiffen brake lines, and winter is the single most New York repair season we have.
Our winter-damage service opens the affected systems, cleans and treats corrosion, replaces components that are past saving, and reseals connections so the next slush ride doesn't do it all over again. If your ride lives chained outside, in a hallway, or on a fire escape between commutes, ask us about winter-smart storage and a quick post-storm rinse routine during any repair. It's the cheapest insurance in this climate. And when spring potholes arrive, we handle those too: bent rims, blown tires, and knocked-loose stems, with a free first look at any error code.
Electric Bike Repair in Queens, Built for NYC Delivery Riders
E-bikes are how New York actually moves: commuters beating the 7 train crush, delivery riders threading Roosevelt Avenue and Queens Boulevard in every kind of weather, and families cruising Flushing Meadows on the weekend. Our e-bike repair service in Queens covers every class and style: commuter e-bikes, fat-tire bikes, folding frames, cargo bikes, delivery workhorses, and high-powered e-motorbikes. We service hub motors and mid-drives, tune derailleurs and hydraulic brakes, replace batteries and displays, and diagnose the wiring and controller faults that leave a bike dead on the charger.
For NYC delivery riders, downtime is lost income, which is exactly why we built our express repair program. Tell us you ride for work when you book or walk in and we'll prioritize you: flats fixed in about 20 minutes, brakes in about 15, and same-day turnaround on most jobs because the parts are already on our shelves. Hundreds of delivery e-bikes come through 82-15 Queens Blvd every year, and Jay's team knows exactly which parts wear out first on a 60-hour week.
Electric Scooter & E-Bike Battery Service, Done Safely
If your range has dropped, charging takes longer than it used to, or your ride cuts out in the cold or on hills, your battery or BMS is the likely culprit, and New York winters expose weak packs fast. We load-test packs in-shop at 82-15 Queens Blvd, repair what's repairable, and only install certified, brand-appropriate replacement batteries. In a city that's learned hard lessons about uncertified lithium packs, that matters: we never install generic no-name batteries, period. Learn more on our electric scooter battery replacement page.
Why Parts In Stock Matters
Most repair shops in New York order parts after they diagnose your ride, which means a one-hour fix becomes a two-week wait. Wilson's is also one of the country's largest e-mobility retailers, so our Queens electric scooter repair shop sits next to a full parts inventory: tires and tubes in every common size, brake pads and rotors, throttles, displays, controllers, chargers, and certified batteries for the brands New Yorkers actually ride: Segway, Teverun, Nami, Kaabo, Navee, Hiboy, Surron, and more. That inventory is the reason most of our repairs finish the same day you walk in, and it's backed by our 3-year warranty program on rides purchased from Wilson's. Need a fix closer to home? We also have Wilson's shops in Brooklyn, Flushing, and Long Island City — see the full NYC repair network.
Queens Repair FAQs
Search, or filter by topic, to find your answer fast.
How much does electric scooter repair cost in Queens?
At our Elmhurst flagship, brake repair starts at $25, a flat tire at $40, tire & tube replacement at $65 and throttle repair at $50. Reading an error code is free and takes about 5 minutes. Every price is a starting point that includes parts and labor. Some rides take more work to open up than others, so the final price can come out a little higher. You approve the quote before we start.
How long does an electric scooter repair take at the Queens shop?
Most common repairs finish in about 30 minutes, flats in roughly 20 and brake adjustments in about 15, because parts are in stock. Complex motor, controller, or battery jobs get an upfront timeline, and most riders still leave the same day.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome seven days a week at 82-15 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst. To skip the wait, book the next open slot with the booking tool on this page and we'll have the right technician and parts ready when you arrive.
Where exactly is Wilson's Queens?
82-15 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst, NY 11373, right on Queens Boulevard, steps from the Grand Av–Newtown M/R subway station and the Q60 bus. Open every day, 10 AM to 8 PM. Roll your electric scooter or e-bike straight through the front door, and if you drive, street and lot parking are nearby.
Which Queens neighborhoods is Wilson's closest to?
Wilson's sits in central Queens, so Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, Corona, Rego Park, Woodside, and Forest Hills are all just minutes away, and the Grand Av–Newtown M/R stop drops you at our door. Free simple inspection, parts in stock, and most repairs done in about 30 minutes.
Do you serve riders from all of NYC, not just Queens?
Riders come from Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx and Long Island because we keep performance-brand parts in stock and most repairs finish the same day, so one subway ride is usually all it takes. We also have Wilson's locations in Brooklyn and Long Island City if those are closer.
Do you repair all electric scooter and e-bike brands?
Any brand, any issue, wherever you bought it. That includes Segway, Ninebot, Teverun, Nami, Kaabo, KuKirin, Navee, Hiboy, InMotion, Ausom, Apollo, Dualtron, EMOVE, Surron and everything in between.
Can NYC winter salt and slush damage my ride?
Road salt is the number-one electrical killer in New York. It works into connectors, controllers, and battery housings and keeps corroding long after the ride, showing up weeks later as error codes and no-power faults. We clean and treat the corrosion, replace what's past saving, and reseal connections. Diagnosis is free on any error code.
Can you replace my battery?
We do. First, every pack gets load-tested in the shop (from $50, waived if the repair is over $100). We repair what can be safely repaired and fit only certified, brand-matched replacement packs, from $500. Never generic, uncertified packs. Reduced range, slow charging, or cut-outs in the cold are the classic signs it's time.
Do you do priority repairs for delivery riders?
Tell us you ride for work when you book or walk in and we'll bump you up: flats in about 20 minutes, brakes in about 15, and same-day turnaround on most jobs. We stock parts for the e-bikes NYC delivery riders actually use, and we know downtime is money.
Do you repair electric dirt bikes like Surron?
Surron and Surron-class e-dirt bikes and e-motorbikes are all welcome: suspension, drivetrains, brakes, controllers and full electrical work, plus pre-trip inspections before your next trail weekend out of the city.
Can you fix pothole or curb damage?
NYC potholes and curb hits bend rims, blow tires, knock stems loose and rattle connectors free. So we do a full post-impact check of wheels, stem, suspension and electrical, plus custom fabrication when a bracket or mount needs to be rebuilt. The first look is free.
