Text Message Terms
Text message terms
What we text you about, how often, how to stop, and how to reach a person. In short: we text you about your own order or repair, and nothing else.

What we send
Wilson's eMobility (wilsonebikes.com) sends order and repair notifications — order confirmations, ready-for-collection notices, shipping updates — and replies to messages you send us.
These are messages about something you have bought or booked with us. We do not send promotions, offers or newsletters by text.
How you start receiving them
You give us your mobile number and agree to be texted about your order — at checkout, when you book a repair, or by telling a member of staff in one of our shops. We only text the number you gave us, about the order or repair you gave it for.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, repair booking, or service.
You can buy from us, book a repair and collect your ride without ever agreeing to a text message. If you would rather we used email or the phone, say so and we will.
How often
Message frequency varies and depends on your order or repair activity.
There is no schedule and no campaign. A straightforward order might get one or two messages; a repair that needs a decision might get a few more. When nothing is happening, we do not text you.
What it costs
Message and data rates may apply.
We do not charge you anything to receive our messages. Your own mobile plan may — check with your carrier if you are unsure.
Stopping the messages
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from Wilson's. You can also call or email us to opt out.
We honour an opt-out however it is written — upper case, lower case, with or without punctuation, and the ordinary words people actually use: stop, end, cancel, quit, unsubscribe. You will get one message confirming we have stopped, and then nothing further.
Stopping texts does not cancel anything. Your order, your repair and your warranty are unaffected, and we will carry on reaching you by email or phone.
Changed your mind? Reply START, or just tell us next time you are in the shop.
Getting help
For help, reply HELP, call (516) 300-0944, or email info@wilsonebikes.com.
Replying HELP sends you back our name and how to reach us. If you want an actual answer about an actual order, the phone number and the email address above reach a person at the shop, and that is usually faster.
Your number, and who sees it
We use your mobile number to text you about your order or repair, and for nothing else.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of data sharing described in our privacy policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Our full Privacy Policy explains everything else we hold and why.
Things outside our control
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Text messages depend on your mobile network. Delivery is not guaranteed, and a message can be late or lost without either of us knowing. So we never rely on a text alone for anything that matters — if your ride is ready to collect or something needs a decision, you will hear from us by email as well.
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile and most smaller US networks.
