AINOHOT VOLT: the commuter that rolls like a bicycle

How fast does it go?

18.6 mph — quick enough, legal nearly everywhere

The 500W rear motor tops out at 18.6 mph with 15° of climbing ability — right in the sweet spot where most local e-scooter speed rules live. This is the machine for riders who want to move through the city without watching for speed caps.

How far on a charge?

28–31 real-world miles

AINOHOT publishes the range as a real-world band, not a lab fantasy: 28 to 31 miles from the 48V 13Ah (624Wh) pack. The 2.0A charger refills it in about 7 hours — plug in at dinner, ride at dawn.

What's with the wheel sizes?

20” up front, 16” behind — the smoothness formula

The dual-size setup is the VOLT’s signature: a tall 20” front wheel rolls over potholes and curb lips that stop small wheels dead, while the 16” rear keeps handling tight and nimble. Both are pneumatic tires on 6-spoke magnesium alloy rims.

How does it stop?

Discs at both ends

Front and rear mechanical disc brakes bite crisply and predictably — the stopping power you want when a delivery van door swings open two car-lengths ahead.

Can I ride it at night?

Lit ahead, seen behind

A 50 Lux LED headlight throws real light on the path, and the LED tail light keeps you visible to drivers. The bright color display in the cockpit stays readable day or night, and cruise mode rests your thumb on longer runs.

Will it carry my stuff?

Rack on the back, fold in the middle

The built-in rear rack takes a basket or strapped bag — groceries ride, you steer. At 52.91 lbs with a folding stem, the VOLT stows in hallways and car trunks, and its 264 lb max load handles nearly any rider plus cargo.

Questions riders ask

AINOHOT VOLT FAQ

Who is AINOHOT?
AINOHOT is Nanrobot’s city-commuter line — same maker, same parts pipeline, tuned for everyday riding rather than raw speed.
How fast is the VOLT?
18.6 mph from its 500W rear motor — deliberately inside what most local e-scooter rules allow. Always check your local regulations.
What range does it get?
28–31 miles per charge under real-world conditions — for a 5-mile daily commute, that’s most of a week between plug-ins.
Why the big wheels?
Wheel diameter decides how a bump feels. The 20” front wheel rolls over cracks and curb cuts that jolt 8–10” wheels, giving the VOLT a glide closer to a bicycle than a typical e-scooter.
Is it comfortable for taller riders?
The upright, bicycle-like stance suits a wide range of heights, and the long deck gives your feet room to move. Come stand on one to be sure.
Can it carry cargo?
Yes — the rear rack is built in and takes a basket or strapped bag, with a 264 lb total max load.
How long does charging take?
About 7 hours with the included 2.0A charger — an overnight plug-in covers it.
How heavy is it?
52.91 lbs — the lightest machine we’ve added from this maker, and it folds for trunks and hallways.
Is it water resistant?
IPX4 rated — splashes and light rain are fine, standing water is not. And never charge a wet or swollen battery — bring it straight in to us.
Can I test ride one?
Please do — the big-wheel feel is the whole story: find your nearest Wilson’s shop.
Who services it?
Our technicians, in the shop — tires, brakes, diagnostics and everything else, any brand, any issue.
