Almost everything at this price drives one wheel. The Mantis 8 Lite drives both, with 500W hubs peaking at 2200W together: confident starts, 20-degree climbs, and grip on damp pavement that single-drive machines guess at. C-spring shocks and 8-inch pneumatic tires on split rims keep the ride cushioned and the maintenance simple.

Who is the Mantis 8 Lite for?
Short-distance commuters and students: campus runs, subway-station hops and neighborhood errands. It is the friendliest price on our Kaabo shelf, and the dual motors give it more polish than that price suggests.
Does it really have NFC unlock at this price?
Yes. The display wakes with an NFC card tap and stays locked without one, the same security approach Kaabo fits to its flagships.
How heavy is the Mantis 8 Lite?
53 lbs, the lightest Kaabo we carry. It folds to 18.7 inches tall and handles stairs, trunks and hallway parking without fuss.
How long does it take to charge?
About 6.5 hours on the included 2A charger. Charge only when the machine is completely dry, and never charge a battery that looks swollen or damaged; bring it straight in to us instead.
What suspension does it have?
C-type spring shock absorbers paired with 8-inch pneumatic tires, tuned for city surfaces.
Can it climb hills?
It is rated for 20-degree inclines with both wheels driven, which covers typical city bridges and ramps.
What brakes does it have?
120mm disc brakes with EABS electronic braking, well matched to its 25 mph ceiling.
Mantis 8 Lite or Mantis 10 Lite — which one?
The 10 Lite adds bigger 10-inch wheels, 31 mph capability and a 37-mile rating for $200 more. The 8 Lite answers with nine fewer pounds and the sharper price. If your rides are short and your carry is frequent, the 8 Lite is the pick; both are on our floor.

Is the Mantis 8 Lite good for beginners?
