KuKirin X1 overview

Dirt-style power, centered in the frame.

The KuKirin X1 electric motorbike puts a mid-drive motor low in a 6061 aluminum frame and sends its power to the rear wheel by chain. It reaches 31 mph and goes up to 25 miles on a 48V 20.8Ah battery, on knobby off-road tires and hydraulic suspension.

Hydraulic disc brakes at both ends work with E-ABS to keep the wheels from locking on loose or wet ground, and the electrics are sealed to IP65.

The motor sits in the middle of the frame, so the weight stays centered and the X1 stays easy to steer, and a chain carries its pull to the rear wheel. Three modes set the pace.

A hydraulic damping shock and knobby pneumatic tires take the ruts, roots and drops, so the handlebars stay steady and the tires keep their grip.
