E-TWOW brought Formula 1 kinetic energy recovery to the electric scooter. Squeeze the electric brake and the front motor slows you while recharging the battery, extending the Booster ES's range by up to 40%.

How fast does the E-TWOW Booster ES go?

Up to 19 mph in Sport mode. US units are unlimited; EU units are electronically limited to 25 km/h. We set the mode for your area at handover.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 19 miles from the 36V 281 Wh battery under manufacturer conditions. Rider weight, hills, cold and speed shorten it; KERS regenerative braking adds up to 40% back.

How much does it weigh?

25.6 lbs (11.6 kg). E-TWOW calls it the lightest 500W electric scooter on the market, and it is the lightest full-power commuter we sell.

How is the Booster ES different from the GT SL?

The Booster ES is 3.7 lbs lighter and runs a 36V 281 Wh battery for 19 mph and 19 miles; the GT SL runs 48V 374 Wh for 23 mph and 22 miles and adds a rear drum brake. Same motor, same fold, same tires.

How small does it fold?

38.6 x 13.0 x 5.9 inches with the fast 3-point fold, handlebar and grips folded in, and the body unfolds itself on release.

What are the riding modes?

Eco, Normal and Sport, selected from the display. Eco stretches the battery, Sport gives the full 700W peak.

What are the brakes?

A front regenerative KERS brake on the electric lever and a rear emergency mudguard brake you step on, which works with the power off.

How much does it cost to run?

E-TWOW rates consumption at 9.90 to 12.39 Wh per mile. Use the running-cost planner above with your own electricity rate to see the weekly band.

Are airless tires comfortable?

Firmer than air tires, which is why the Booster ES has front and rear shock absorbers. In return they never go flat and rarely need replacing.

Can it climb hills?

Rated for a 20% grade. Rider weight and charge level affect it.

How long does it take to charge?

About 3 hours to full with the 42V 2A charger, and 50% in about 90 minutes.

Is it safe to ride in the rain?

Light rain and wet roads are fine. Do not ride through deep water or submerge it, and never charge a wet or swollen battery. Bring it straight in instead.

What is the maximum rider weight?

242 lbs.

Which colors are available?

Black, White and Grey. Grey is currently out of stock at the manufacturer; ask in the shop about timing.

Can I test ride it first, and is there a warranty?

Yes to both. Come to any of our shops and ride the Booster ES before you decide. It is covered for one year on the brands we carry, handled in our shops by our own technicians.
