What age is the Hiboy Joy Haul for?

Kids aged 5 to 8. The compact frame, kid-friendly controls, low-speed modes and comfortable design suit beginners learning balance and control.

How fast does it go?

Up to 9 mph, with three modes: Eco at 3 mph for beginners, Standard at 6 mph for everyday riding and Sport at 9 mph for experienced riders. Parents choose.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 5 miles, enough for neighborhood rides, park trips, backyard adventures and short family outings. Rider weight, mode, terrain and conditions change it.

How long does it take to charge?

About 4.5 to 5.5 hours. Avoid draining it fully and store it with some charge if it will sit for a while.

Is it safe for young children?

It is built for them: three speed modes, a triple braking system, puncture-resistant tires, a non-slip deck, soft silicone grips sized for small hands and a UL 2272 battery. Always supervise and fit a helmet and pads.

How do the brakes work?

Three systems together: electronic braking, a drum brake and a foot brake, for smooth, controlled stops.

Is it easy for beginners?

Yes. A smooth thumb throttle, adjustable speed modes, comfortable grips and a 3 mph starting mode let kids begin gently and move up as skills improve.

Can it be ridden standing, like a kick-style ride?

Yes. Kids can stand on the deck and ride it kick-style with the seat removed, or use the seat for a more relaxed ride.

Can we try it first, and is there a warranty?

Yes to both. Bring your rider to any of our shops and let them sit on it. It is covered for one year on the brands we carry, handled in our shops by our own technicians.
