Why beginners start here

Genuinely light

28.66 lbs — carried up stairs, lifted into trunks, stored in closets without a second thought.

Simple cockpit

A thumb throttle and clean display show speed and battery — nothing to learn, nothing to fiddle with.

Removable battery

The pack slides out of the stem and charges at any outlet in 4–5 hours.

UL2272 certified

Independently tested electrical safety — the standard buildings and campuses ask for.

Motor

350W up front, 700W when the hill starts

The front-wheel drive motor pulls rather than pushes — a steadier feel for new riders — and its 700W peak handles 15° slopes and everyday terrain without complaint.

10” pneumatic tires

Air where it counts

Anti-slip 10” pneumatic tires give the X8 real grip on varied surfaces, and their air cushion is the suspension — soaking up the cracks and seams that make solid-tire rides buzz.

Silicone deck

Sure footing, easy cleaning

The non-slip silicone deck keeps shoes planted in wet weather and wipes clean in seconds — a small daily luxury on a machine this simple.

Beginner-friendly by design

Three speeds, one confident rider

The X8 is built for people who want to get places, not set records. Start in Eco, move up when the mode feels slow, and settle wherever you’re comfortable.

6 mph
Eco mode

Walking-pace calm for first rides and crowded paths.

10 mph
Mid mode

The everyday cruise — brisk, easy, unhurried.

18 mph
Top mode

Full pace for open lanes and familiar routes.

Lighting

Seen coming and going

A stem-mounted headlight throws a clear beam ahead while the fender-mounted tail light glows red behind — simple, bright, and always where drivers look.

Portable by nature

Fold it, carry it, forget it was ever a problem

One step drops the stem; at about 30 lbs the X8 rides in one hand like a briefcase with wheels. Trunk, bus, elevator, under the desk — the last mile of any trip stops being a negotiation.

Questions riders ask

Nanrobot X8 FAQ

How fast does the X8 go?
It runs three modes — 6, 10, and up to 18 mph in the top setting — so you choose the pace and change it as confidence grows.
How does the removable battery work?
The 36V 10.4Ah pack slides out of the stem and charges on its own at any outlet in 4–5 hours, then clicks back in. The machine stays parked wherever it lives.
What range does it get?
Up to 25 miles per charge at an easy pace — several days of short commutes between plug-ins. Speed, hills and rider weight move the number.
Is it really light enough to carry?
28.66 lbs — about the weight of a packed carry-on. The one-step fold makes it a one-hand carry up stairs and onto transit.
Is it good for a first-time rider?
It’s the machine we point beginners to: gentle front-drive power, walking-pace Eco mode, a simple cockpit and UL2272-certified electrics.
Can heavier riders use it?
Yes — despite the low weight, it carries up to 264 lbs.
Can it climb hills?
Moderate ones — it’s rated for 15° grades on its 700W peak output. For steep daily hills, look at the G-series.
Is it water resistant?
IP54 — light rain and damp roads are fine, standing water is not. And never charge a wet or swollen battery — bring it straight in to us.
How long does charging take?
4–5 hours — the fastest charge in our whole range, helped by the pack charging on its own indoors.
Can I test ride one?
Yes — come try all three modes and the battery slide: find your nearest Wilson’s shop.
Who services it?
Our technicians, in the shop — tires, brakes, batteries and diagnostics, any brand, any issue.
