How fast does the YUME Raptor2 go?

Up to 54 mph (87 km/h) in dual-motor mode, depending on rider weight, charge level and road conditions. That speed is for private property; the riding mode is set from the display; ask in the shop about your local rules.

How far does it go on a charge?

About 62 miles (100 km) on the standard 60V 27Ah battery and 67 miles (107 km) on the Samsung 60V 30Ah battery, measured with a 165 lb rider at a constant 15 mph. Sustained high-speed riding shortens it.

Is the Raptor2 built for off-road riding or paved roads?

Both. The V-Force powertrain, ASC stability control, dual hydraulic suspension and 11-inch tubeless tires handle paved roads, gravel, dirt and packed off-road trails.

Which tires should I choose?

Road tires are optimized for urban riding and balance grip with comfort. All-terrain tires are built for rough ground and suit riders who go off-road often. Both are 11 x 3.95 inch tubeless, and you pick at checkout or in the shop.

What is the difference between the two battery options?

Both are 60V with dual charging ports and the same 20-layer BMS protection. The standard pack is 27Ah, rated for 62 miles. The Samsung pack uses 21700 Samsung cells, is 30Ah and is rated for 67 miles. Both charge in 7 to 8 hours with the two included chargers.

What is the V-Force platform?

YUME's unified powertrain: motor, controller and battery tuned as one system. FOC vector control and adaptive hall learning split torque between the two 1750W-rated motors, which peak at 3000W each.

What is Smart Battery Protection?

A built-in function of the battery management system that monitors current, voltage and cell temperature thousands of times per second. During long full-throttle runs in hot weather, if the cells reach 70°C the system temporarily reduces power so the battery can cool, then restores full power on its own within a few minutes. It is not a fault and does not affect the warranty. If it engages often, bring the Raptor2 in and our technicians will check it.

What is Manual Override mode?

An emergency key that puts the Raptor2 into Safe Mode. With the motor, controller and battery intact it keeps rolling in first gear so you can get home rather than push. If you ever need it, bring the Raptor2 straight in afterwards.

How good are the brakes?

Dual ZOOM hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm, 2.3 mm-thick rotors, synchronized with EBS electronic braking. The manufacturer measures a full stop from 15 mph in 5 feet. Our technicians service them in the shop.

Is the Raptor2 waterproof?

It is rated IP66, with IPX7 motor connectors, so rain and wet roads are fine. Do not submerge it, and never charge a wet or swollen battery. Bring it straight in instead.

How does the NFC unlock work?

Tap one of the two included NFC cards, or an Android phone or smartwatch, on the display and the Raptor2 wakes instantly. Two mechanical keys are also included, and the YM OS app adds Bluetooth start, live ride data and self-diagnostics.

Does it fold?

Yes. The stem collapses in about three seconds and locks with one click, then doubles as a hook or carry handle. At 102 lbs (46 kg) it is a two-person lift into a vehicle.

What is the maximum rider weight?

330 lbs (150 kg).
