How to read an electric scooter range figure
Makers measure range in ideal conditions: a light rider, flat ground, mild weather and a steady, moderate speed. Real riding is different, and in New York it is usually shorter. The things that cut range most:
- Speed. Riding fast uses far more energy per mile than riding at 15 mph.
- Rider and cargo weight. A heavier load means more energy to accelerate and climb.
- Hills and stop-start traffic. Every restart from a red light costs energy.
- Cold. Lithium batteries give less range in winter.
- Tire pressure and battery age. An older battery holds less charge; see how long electric scooter batteries last.
The practical rule: pick an electric scooter whose rated range is comfortably more than your longest regular day, so you are not riding on the last bar.
Longest range overall: Teverun Fighter Supreme 7260R
With a 72V 60Ah battery and a 124-mile rating, the Fighter Supreme 7260R is the biggest battery in our range. It is a flagship performance machine with 15,000W peak power, 4-piston brakes, KKE suspension and GPS, built for riders who want both distance and power.
Best removable battery: Kaabo King GTR Max
The Kaabo King GTR Max matches the 124-mile rating and adds a removable 72V 40Ah Samsung battery. A removable pack is a big deal in an apartment: you can charge the battery indoors without carrying the whole electric scooter upstairs.
100 miles: YUME Predator
The YUME Predator pairs a removable 72V 50Ah EV battery with dual 4,000W motors and 13-inch tires, for a 100-mile rating. The big tires also make long rides more comfortable on rough roads.
Best value long range: Nanrobot N6 72V and Hiboy Titan Pro
If you want long range without flagship pricing, the Nanrobot N6 72V gives a 90-mile rating from a 72V 33Ah Samsung battery, and the Hiboy Titan Pro offers up to 80 miles with twin Bosch motors, dual hydraulic brakes and a 330 lb load rating. The Ausom DT2 Pro is another strong value pick at up to 71 miles.
Best premium brand: Segway GT3 Pro
The Segway GT3 Pro SuperScooter combines an 86-mile rating with Segway's safety tech, including S-ABS and hydraulic brakes, and its 2,160 Wh battery. For riders who want long range from a brand with wide parts support, it is a strong choice.
Best long-range commuter for NYC streets: NAVEE GT3 Max
Most long-range electric scooters are also very fast, and models built for more than 20 mph are not treated as street-legal electric scooters in New York; see are electric scooters legal in NYC. The NAVEE GT3 Max is designed for 20 mph and still rated for 46.6 miles, with dual suspension and automatic lights at 50.7 lb. For most city commuters, that is more range than a week of rides needs between charges.

Frequently asked questions
Which electric scooter has the longest range?
In our range, the Teverun Fighter Supreme 7260R and the Kaabo King GTR Max, both rated for 124 miles.
How far can an electric scooter go on one charge in real life?
Expect less than the rated figure, sometimes a lot less at high speed, with a heavy load, on hills or in cold weather. Choose a rating well above your longest regular ride.
Is a bigger battery always better?
Not always. Bigger batteries add weight and cost. If your rides are short, a lighter commuter electric scooter is easier to carry and store.
Can I test ride a long-range electric scooter in NYC?
Yes. Visit any of our NYC shops in Flushing, Elmhurst, Brooklyn or Long Island City; ask ahead if you want a specific model ready.
