Dual drive. Both 750W motors pull together for 25% hills and loads to 286 lbs, with Traction Control trimming power the instant a wheel slips.

Intelligent braking system

EBS plus KERS, and the hill takes care of itself

Braking technology in the spirit of the leading electric car brands: an Electromagnetic Braking System with Kinetic Energy Recovery. Riding downhill, the system regulates speed automatically for smooth, controlled deceleration without constant brake input, then hands you back to flat ground with less braking and more control.

L3: up to 60% energy backThe strongest regeneration and the firmest downhill hold. Two disc brakes remain for the hard stops. EBS pauses on a full battery and resumes after about a mile.

TankTorq TK3 questions

How fast does the TankTorq TK3 go?

Up to 28 mph in Sport mode with both motors. A 4 mph sidewalk mode is built in for shared paths. We set the mode for your area at handover.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 28 miles from the 60V 600 Wh battery, rated at 21 Wh per mile with a 176 lb rider. Hills, cold, speed and heavier riders shorten it; EBS regeneration adds some back.

How is the TK3 different from the TK2?

More motor and more tire: 2 x 750W with 1900W peak against 2 x 600W, 28 mph against 25, 10-inch tires against 9, plus remote-control start and downhill speed regulation. It weighs 54.7 lbs against 50.2.

Can I run it on one motor?

Yes. The app switches between dual drive, front-motor and rear-motor modes in seconds.

What does downhill regulation do?

On a descent the EBS holds a steady speed automatically, so you are not riding the lever the whole way down. It recovers energy while it does it, up to 60% in L3.

What is TCS?

Traction Control. It watches wheel speeds, detects slip and trims power to keep the TK3 stable on wet or loose surfaces.

How long does it take to charge?

2 hours 40 minutes on the standard 4A charger, or 55 minutes from 10 to 90% with the optional 8A fast charger.

Is it waterproof?

The battery, motors, controller and display are rated IPX6. Rain, puddles and wet roads are fine; do not submerge it, and never charge a wet or swollen battery. Bring it straight in instead.

Can the tires go flat?

They are 10-inch puncture-proof tubeless tires, in summer or deeper winter tread. Our technicians handle swaps in the shop.

How does the remote work?

Start and stop the TK3 from the remote key or from the app, which also delivers software updates and vehicle settings.

What happens when the battery gets low?

Reserve mode limits speed to about 7 mph under 10% so you can cover another 2 to 3 miles.

How big is it folded?

Which colors are available?

Yes to both. Come to any of our shops and ride the TK3 before you decide. It is covered for one year on the brands we carry, handled in our shops by our own technicians.
