The Teewing X9 is a commuter electric scooter built around a 15.6Ah battery that lifts out of the deck. It tops out at 25 mph and goes up to 45 miles as the 36V X9 Plus or up to 55 miles as the 48V X9 ProMax.

Disc brakes front and rear with E-ABS, a foot brake, spring suspension at both ends and 10-inch extra-wide tires keep the daily ride steady, at 42 to 44 lbs.

Two versions, one frame

The X9 Plus runs a 36V system with a 500W rear hub motor that peaks at 850W and goes up to 45 miles. The X9 ProMax steps up to 48V and a 550W motor that peaks at 1100W, for up to 55 miles. Both reach 25 mph.

A battery that lifts out

The 15.6Ah pack comes out of the deck, so you can charge it at your desk or in the apartment while the electric scooter stays downstairs. A full charge takes 6 to 8 hours.

Three ways to stop

Disc brakes at both wheels, an E-ABS electronic brake and a rear foot brake work together for short, controlled stops in traffic.

How fast does the Teewing X9 go?

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 45 miles for the X9 Plus and up to 55 miles for the X9 ProMax in good conditions. Rider weight, speed, hills, wind and cold weather all bring that down.

Can I take the battery out to charge it?

Yes. The 15.6Ah battery lifts out of the deck, and a full charge takes 6 to 8 hours.

What is the maximum rider weight?

265 lbs (120 kg). Staying within it keeps performance, range and braking where the manufacturer rates them.

Is it waterproof?

It is rated IP54 for splashes and light rain. Do not ride through deep puddles, and never charge a wet or swollen battery. Bring it straight in instead.
