Motor

500W rated, 850W when the light turns green

The C1’s motor cruises at 500W and surges to 850W peak — enough for a 24.8 mph top speed and brisk pull-aways that keep you ahead of stop-and-go traffic. Power delivery stays gentle enough for first-time riders.

Silicone deck

Grip that shrugs off weather

The waterproof silicone deck holds your shoes in the rain and wipes clean in seconds — with a patterned surface that looks as considered as it feels.

Magnesium alloy frame

Aviation-grade bones

The frame is cast from aviation-grade magnesium alloy — it sheds heat, damps vibration and takes impacts that would fatigue cheaper aluminum builds, all while keeping total weight at 52.91 lbs.

Battery

24–28 miles rated — and the honest number

The 48V 10.4Ah pack is rated for 24–28 miles; Nanrobot themselves say typical riders see 18–22 in mixed real-world conditions, and we’d rather you plan on that. Either way it covers a week of average commutes, recharged in 6–8 hours.

Disc brake + EBS

Firm, progressive, predictable

A rear disc brake plus electronic braking gives the C1 a progressive stop that firms up the harder you squeeze — confidence-inspiring in traffic and forgiving for new riders.

Folding and size

Folded before the bus doors open

The upgraded folding system drops the C1 flat in about one second — genuinely, one motion — to 47.2” × 22.5” × 21.25”. Catch the bus, stash it under a desk, slide it into any trunk.

  • One-second folding mechanism
  • Folded: 47.2” × 22.5” × 21.25”
  • 52.91 lbs — light enough to actually carry

Questions riders ask

Nanrobot C1 FAQ

What’s the difference between the C1 2.0 and 3.0?
App control. The 3.0 ($499, Black) adds phone-based lock, settings and ride data; the 2.0 ($349 on clearance, in three colors) is the same machine without the app. Hardware is otherwise identical.
How fast and how far does it go?
24.8 mph from the 500W (850W peak) motor. Range is rated 24–28 miles, with 18–22 typical in mixed real-world riding — plan on the honest number.
What are self-sealing tires?
The tubeless casings carry an internal coating that closes small punctures automatically — most nail-and-thorn flats never develop. Bigger damage still comes to our technicians.
Is it really a one-second fold?
Close enough that you’ll never miss a bus over it — one motion drops the stem and locks it for carrying.
How heavy is it?
52.91 lbs — among the lightest full-size commuters we carry, thanks to the magnesium alloy frame.
Can it handle rain?
Its IP66-rated sealing handles wet roads and rain comfortably — deep puddles are still off-limits, and never charge a wet or swollen battery — bring it straight in to us.
Is the battery certified?
Yes — UL2272 certified, on a 48V 10.4Ah pack of 18650 cells with 6–8 hour charging.
Why is the 2.0 so cheap right now?
It’s a clearance price on the outgoing no-app generation — same frame, motor and tires as the 3.0. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
Does it have cruise control?
Yes — plus a 15.5 mph limit mode for paths and local rules. Always follow your local regulations.
Can I test ride one?
Absolutely: find your nearest Wilson’s shop and try it in your color.
Who services it?
Our technicians, in the shop — tires, brakes, diagnostics and everything else, any brand, any issue.
