Segway F3 questions

How fast is the Segway F3?

Approximately 20 mph (32 km/h). Riding modes are set in the Segway Mobility App, and we configure them for your roads at handover.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 44 miles in E mode, 31 in D and 25 in S, from the 477 Wh battery. Hills, cold, stops and rider weight all reduce it.

How powerful is it?

A 450W brushless motor with 1000W max output, rated for a 20 percent slope.

How long does it take to charge?

About 8 hours with the included 70W charger. The app shows time to full and can schedule charging for cheaper hours.

How heavy is it?

About 42.3 lbs, one of the lighter long-range Segways. It folds to 24 inches tall.

Does it have suspension?

Yes. A hydraulic shock at the front and an elastomer shock at the rear.

What brakes does it have?

A front disc brake and a rear electronic brake with regeneration.

Is it waterproof?

The body is rated IPX6. Ride it in the rain, but do not submerge it or pressure wash it, and never charge a wet or swollen battery. Bring it straight in instead.
