How fast is a Surron Ultra Bee?
Surron rates the Ultra Bee at over 56 mph (90 km/h) in Sports mode, with a 154 lb rider on a flat road, and 0 to 31 mph in 2.3 seconds. Eco mode softens the throttle and caps the power, which suits newer riders.
How far does a Surron Ultra Bee go on a charge?
Up to 62 miles (100 km) at a constant 31 mph, by Surron's test. Hard trail riding, hills, cold weather and a heavier rider all shorten that. The 74V 55Ah pack lifts out of the frame for charging, a full charge takes about 4.5 hours, and the charger travels in its own compartment under the seat.
How much does a Surron Ultra Bee weigh?
196 lb (89 kg) at curb weight, with a 35.8-inch seat. That is light for a full-size dirt machine, but it is a two-person lift into a pickup and a tall seat for shorter riders. If you are new to electric dirt bikes, the 123 lb Light Bee X is the easier start; we compare the two in Surron Light Bee X vs Ultra Bee.
Which Ultra Bee version is this?
Surron's US site lists two Ultra Bee versions. The one we sell matches the Ultra Bee T: 19-inch off-road wheels front and rear, a 910 mm seat, 89 kg and a 150 kg carrying capacity.
Surron also lists an Ultra Bee R with an 18-inch rear wheel on 120/80-18 all-terrain tires, a lower 850 mm (33.5 in) seat, 93 kg (205 lb) and a 100 kg carrying capacity. Both share the 12.5 kW motor, 440 Nm, the 74V 55Ah battery and the same rated top speed and range. When you compare prices, check which version a listing is for.
Who is the Surron Ultra Bee for?
- A good fit if you already ride off-road, want full-size suspension and power, ride rough ground or bigger jumps, or weigh more than the Light Bee X's 220 lb carrying capacity.
- Not the best fit if it is your first electric dirt bike, you are shorter than about 5'8", or you need to lift it into a vehicle on your own. Start with the Surron Light Bee X instead; its price, speed and range are in Surron Light Bee X: price, top speed, range and specs.

Is the Surron Ultra Bee street legal?
In most places, not as delivered. We sell it as an off-road electric dirt bike, and it isn't an e-bike under New York or California law. New York State Police class electric dirt bikes as off-highway motorcycles, not legal on public roads unless fully registered, insured and street legal.
California treats them as off-highway motorcycles too, and since January 1, 2026 they need a Green Sticker to ride on public off-highway land. Other states set their own registration rules, so ask us about yours. Models over 20 mph aren't sold or shipped to New York City addresses. For New York, see where to ride electric dirt bikes in New York.
What does it cost to keep an Ultra Bee running?
Off-road riding is hard on tires, brakes and the drivetrain. Our technicians service Surron and every other brand, wherever you bought it. Common jobs, all starting prices with parts and labor included:
| Service | From |
|---|---|
| Simple inspection, any brand | Free |
| Tune-up and safety check | $50 |
| Tire and tube replacement, including off-road tires | $65–$120 |

| Suspension and fork service | $80 |
| Wheel and hub bearing replacement | $100 |

Every price is a starting price that includes parts and labor; the final price depends on the part. A full diagnosis with disassembly or test equipment is $30, waived on repairs over $100.
