SegRange, Segway's own range technology, works with a high-capacity 717 Wh battery to squeeze more miles out of every charge. Segway also changed how it measures range for this model: the test now runs until top speed drops to 60 percent, so the numbers below are closer to what you will actually see on the street.
Enough power to turn hills into scenery
Built for quick rides and real climbs. 2200W of max power from the rear hub motor, up to 28 mph, and a 30 percent slope rating, with Boost Mode for the moments you need all of it at once.
Dual adjustable hydraulic suspension
Double hydraulic shocks up front and double adjustable hydraulic shocks at the rear smooth out broken pavement for more comfort and more control wherever the ride takes you. We set the rear damping for your weight when you pick it up.
140 mm rotors and intelligent braking
Double-action piston disc brakes on both wheels with 140 mm ventilated rotors, plus an Intelligent Braking System that blends regenerative and mechanical braking for smooth, efficient, confident stops. Segway quotes a 15 percent shorter braking distance than the Max G3.
One cable, no brick
The 209W fast charger is built into the electric scooter, so one cable is all you carry. In a hurry, add Segway's second charger on the other port at the same time and the full charge drops from about 4 hours to about 3.

Unlock, light, grip, weather
Auto Unlock
Segway AirLock unlocks the Max G3 Plus over Bluetooth as you approach and locks it when you walk away. Set whether it should unlock when you are close by or still a few steps out, in the Segway Mobility App.
See and be seen
An automatic 6W headlight that switches on with the light around you and adjusts its angle, rated by Segway at 430 lumens and 115 ft of illumination. Handlebar turn signals up front, dedicated rear turn signals at the back, a brake light and underglow lighting.
11 inch self-sealing tires
Wider 2.8 inch, 11 inch tubeless tires for traction and durability on mixed surfaces. The self-sealing jelly layer closes punctures up to 4 mm as they happen, so a nail on the way home is not the end of the ride.
IPX6 water resistance
The Max G3 Plus body is rated IPX6 and the battery pack IPX7, so rain and wet roads are fine. Do not submerge it or pressure wash it, and never charge a wet or swollen battery. Bring it straight in instead.
Stability you can feel
Traction Control System
Segway's own TCS boosts grip and control on slippery surfaces and helps prevent drifting and skidding. It is switched on in the app, and we set it up for you at handover.
Stability Enhancement System
The curved handlebar, an 80 mm trailing distance and optimized steering damping improve directional stability and resistance to bumps, making every ride smoother and easier to control.

Charge time tracking, smart charge scheduling, battery health monitoring, a customizable charging limit, and protection against short circuit, overcurrent, temperature, overcharge, under-voltage and over-discharge. IPX7 battery pack.
Apple Find My
Activate Find My through the Segway Mobility App to pair the electric scooter with your Apple account, then track it from the Find My app on compatible Apple devices.
Custom sounds
Upload up to four seconds of your own sound effect to the Segway Mobility App and play it with the custom button, or by double-tapping the brake while parked.
