How fast is the E2 Pro?
Up to 18.6 mph (30 km/h) with Segway's latest firmware. We update it in the shop at handover.
How far does it go on a charge?
Up to 21.7 miles theoretical in Eco, and about 15.5 miles riding at 18.6 mph. Hills, cold and rider weight reduce it.
How powerful is it?
A 750W max rear-wheel drive motor rated for an 18 percent slope.
How long does it take to charge?
About 5.5 hours.
What is TCS?
Segway's Traction Control System. It manages rear wheel spin on wet or loose surfaces for a more stable ride.
What brakes does it have?
A front drum brake and a rear electronic brake with regeneration.
Are the tires puncture-proof?
They are 10 inch leak-proof tubeless tires with an air-tight layer, so they hold pressure far longer than standard tubes. Any tire can still be cut, and we fix those in the shop.
Is it waterproof?
The body is rated IPX4 and the battery pack IPX6. Splashes and light rain are fine. Do not submerge or pressure wash it, and never charge a wet or swollen battery.
Does it work with Apple Find My?
Yes. Pair it in the Segway-Ninebot app and the E2 Pro shows up in the Find My app on your iPhone.
Does it have turn signals?
Yes. Built-in front and rear turn indicators with buttons on the handlebar, plus a headlight and brake light.
Who is it for?
Riders 16 and up with a 265 lb payload. It is a strong first electric scooter and a light daily commuter.
What is the difference between the E2 Pro and the E2 Plus II?
The E2 Pro has a 750W motor, 18.6 mph, up to 21.7 miles, 10 inch tubeless tires and Find My. The E2 Plus II is the lighter 36 lb beginner model with 500W max, 15.5 mph and 8.1 inch hollow tires.
