The KuKirin G3 Pro electric scooter is rated for up to 40 mph and 49 miles and weighs 87 lb on our listing (KuKirin's official store says about 96 lb). It sells in the $1,000–$2,000 band, so see today's price on the G3 Pro. Dual 1200W motors, hydraulic disc brakes at both ends and a 5 to 6 hour dual-port charge set it apart from the single-motor KuKirin G3.
It folds, it has full suspension on 10-inch pneumatic tires, and it carries a heavier rider than most KuKirin models. We sell it with free shipping to the lower 48, and our technicians service it in our shops.

How fast is the KuKirin G3 Pro?
KuKirin rate it for 40 mph (65 km/h) in the top of three modes; the lower two are 15 and 27 mph. Two 1200W motors give 2400W of combined rated output. KuKirin quote about 25° of climbing on one motor and about 35° with both driving, so the second motor is as much about hills and grip as about speed.
Stopping matters more at 40 mph than going. The G3 Pro has hydraulic discs front and rear; our listing calls it the only KuKirin we carry with hydraulic rather than cable-operated discs. Hydraulics need less hand pressure and keep the same feel as the pads wear. Wear a helmet every time at these speeds. For how it compares with the single-motor G4, see KuKirin G4: top speed, range, weight and price.
How far does the G3 Pro go on a charge?
Up to 49 miles (80 km) in ideal conditions from a 52V 23Ah battery, about 1040 Wh by KuKirin's figure. Speed, hills, rider weight, tire pressure and cold all shorten that, so plan on less if you ride in the top mode. KuKirin describe the pack as removable.
Charging is the G3 Pro's quiet advantage. It has two charging ports, and KuKirin quote 5 to 6 hours with both in use. KuKirin's spec table gives a 4 to 11 hour range and lists a 58.8V 2A charger, so the short time assumes you charge through both ports. The G3 takes 9 to 10 hours on a smaller pack. For other long-range picks, see the best long-range electric scooters.
How much does the KuKirin G3 Pro weigh?
Our listing gives 39.6 kg, about 87 lb. KuKirin's official store lists 43.6 kg, plus or minus half a kilo, about 96 lb. Either way it folds to 595 mm (23.4 in) tall for a car trunk, but it is an electric scooter you wheel rather than carry up stairs.
Rider limit is the other number to check. Our listing gives 330 lb (150 kg), and KuKirin's official description says about 150 kg, but the spec table on the same official page says 120 kg. To stay inside every published figure, plan on 265 lb. For more choices, see electric scooters for heavy riders.
KuKirin G3 or G3 Pro: which should you buy?
- Choose the G3 Pro if you ride fast, ride long or ride hills: dual motors, hydraulic brakes, 10 more rated miles and half the charge time.
- Choose the G3 if 31 mph is enough and weight matters: it is about 28 lb lighter on our listings and sits in a lower price band, with disc brakes and suspension at both ends.
Comparing across the line? The G4 Max is faster and heavier (see KuKirin G4 Max: top speed, range, weight and price), and the G2 family is lighter and cheaper (see G2 Master vs G2 Max).
Is the KuKirin G3 Pro street legal?
Not in New York City. New York State only treats a device as an electric scooter if it weighs under 100 lb and has a top speed of 20 mph or less, and the G3 Pro is built for 40 mph. KuKirin's own page says most places limit electric scooters on public roads to much lower speeds, so check the rules where you ride. Our guide to electric scooter laws in NYC covers New York.
Who services the KuKirin G3 Pro?
We do, at every shop, with express service at all of them, whether you bought it from us or not. On the G3 Pro the jobs that come up are the ones its hardware calls for: pneumatic tires that need air and the odd flat, hydraulic brakes that want an occasional bleed, two charging ports, and a folding hinge that takes a 40 mph machine's loads.
