Myon's 48V, 722 Wh battery is UL-certified and IPX7 water-resistant with multiple layers of built-in safety. Automatic charging shut-off and individual cell temperature and voltage monitoring maximize performance over the years, and a full charge takes about 5.5 hours.

Segway Myon questions

What is electronic auto shifting?

The Myon reads speed, cadence and incline and shifts its Shimano Cues 9-speed gears for you. Set your preferred cadence and a Casual, Standard or Sport mode in the app, or shift manually at the touch of a button.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 80 miles from the 48V 722 Wh battery. Assist level, rider weight, hills and temperature all change that.

How powerful is the motor?

500W rated with 1500W peak and 85 Nm of torque, tuned by Segway's TurboTuned system for smooth, natural assistance.

How fast does it go?

The Myon is a pedal-assist e-bike, and we configure the assist class for your state's rules at handover.

How long does it take to charge?

About 5.5 hours.

What brakes does it have?

Segway hydraulic disc brakes with two-piston calipers and 180 mm rotors front and rear.

Does it have suspension?

A front suspension fork with 80 mm of travel. The rear is rigid.

What is the Rearview Radar?

An optional accessory that brings automotive-style blind spot detection to the Myon, with alert lights on the handlebar when traffic approaches from behind. We fit it in the shop.

AirLock locks and unlocks over Bluetooth as you walk away and back. GPS and Apple Find My track its location, and the app sends motion alerts. Cloud services are free for the first year, then by subscription.

Does it have turn signals?

Yes. Built-in E-mark turn indicators, an automatic 600-lumen headlight and a tail light that brightens when you brake.

Is it waterproof?

The battery is rated IPX7 and the body IPX5. Ride in the rain, but do not pressure wash it, and never charge a wet or damaged battery. Bring it straight in instead.

How heavy is it, and who is it for?

About 72.75 lbs with a 300 lb total payload and a 264 lb max rider weight.
