Who is the Hiboy S2 Lite designed for?

Teens, young riders and smaller adults: recommended for ages 12 and up, heights 3'7" to 5'7", and riders up to 180 lbs.

Is it a good first electric scooter?

Yes. A manageable 13 mph top speed, a 21.8 lb frame, intuitive controls and a stable platform. Eco Mode lets a beginner start slow before moving up to Sport Mode.

How fast does it go?

Up to 13 mph in Sport Mode. Right for neighborhood rides, school runs, parks and recreational use, and approachable for younger riders.

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 10.6 miles in ideal conditions. Rider weight, terrain, speed, weather and battery use all change it.

Can it climb hills?

About 3 to 5 hours for a full charge.

Can it be ridden in the rain?

It is rated IPX4 for light rain and splashes. Avoid deep puddles, heavy rain and flooded areas, and never charge a wet or swollen battery. Bring it straight in instead.

Does it have an app?

No. Lights, modes and cruise control are all on the power button and LED dashboard, which keeps it simple for younger riders.

Can we test ride it first, and is there a warranty?

Yes to both. Bring your rider to any of our shops and let them try it next to the S2. It is covered for one year on the brands we carry, handled in our shops by our own technicians.
