The high-strength frame structure and sporty ergonomic design are made specifically for the new Light Bee and greatly improve the riding pleasure. Forged under 6000 tonnes of pressure, rigidity and flexibility coexist, and you feel both in the all-aluminum frame the moment you stand it up.
The result is a full-size feel at a weight two riders can lift into a pickup: 99 lbs (45 kg) without the battery, 123 lbs (56 kg) ready to ride.

After five test-riding trips through Sichuan and Tibet, plus continuous feedback from top riders around the world, the power system is set up for demanding, harsh riding. Choose a component.
High-efficiency mid-drive motor
A high-performance brushless permanent-magnet synchronous motor, designed and developed by Surron for the Light Bee. A powerful heart with efficient electronic braking, IP55 protection and high-grade permanent-magnet material that withstands temperatures up to 180°C, with a peak motor torque of 32 Nm before the reduction that puts 250 Nm at the wheel.

High-performance lithium battery
A 60V 40Ah pack built on 21700 cells, with a safe, efficient battery management module for powerful, stable output. Distributed temperature sensors and an SCM 485 communication protocol protect the pack's high-load capacity and service life. It weighs 11.6 kg, comes out in about ten seconds and charges easily off the machine.

A customized front fork with up to 200 mm of effective travel absorbs and slows big hits easily and filters the small ones exquisitely. The inner-tube three-stage spring design carries more load, so it suits forest single-track and the racing track alike.
INTERSECT TR rear suspension
After multiple optimizations the multi-link rod rear suspension integrates its look with the frame structure, and its performance is tuned to the character of electric off-road riding so the rear tire keeps its best grip.

The caliper is upgraded to an integrated one-piece unit, more solid and more reliable. Together with the 203 mm discs the improved braking force secures your riding safety.
Dual-Hall electronic throttle
A brand-new dual-Hall electronic throttle with more linear output and higher sensitivity, plus a safety redundancy that a single sensor cannot offer. Aggressive riding gets more fun, and more predictable.
Brand-new paint process
Exclusive to the Light Bee: Phantom Purple
A brand-new purple special edition with decals. The new paint process gives the Light Bee a delicate, unique texture that plain paint cannot match. It also comes equipped with a front mudguard, a rear-wheel front mudguard and a chain guard to cut mud and water interference.

How fast does the Surron Light Bee X go?
Up to 47 mph (75 km/h) in Sports mode with a 165 lb rider on a flat road. It is an off-road vehicle for private land and approved trails; we walk you through your local rules at handover.
How far does it go on a charge?
Up to 47 miles (75 km) at 22 to 25 mph under the manufacturer's test conditions. Aggressive riding, hills, cold weather and heavier riders shorten it.
How powerful is it?
A 6000W PMSM mid-drive motor with FOC sine-wave control puts 250 Nm at the rear wheel, on a machine that weighs 123 lbs ready to ride.
How is the Light Bee X different from the Ultra Bee?
The Light Bee X is lighter (123 vs 196 lbs), lower (32.7 vs 35.8 in seat) and half the power (6 vs 12.5 kW), with a 60V 40Ah battery instead of 74V 55Ah. It is the easier Surron to load, learn on and live with; the Ultra Bee is the full-size machine.
Is the battery removable?
Yes. The 11.6 kg 60V 40Ah pack comes out in about ten seconds, so you can charge or store it away from the machine.
How long does it take to charge?
About 4 hours from empty with the included charger.
Which riding modes does it have?
Sports and Eco. Sports gives full power with regenerative braking; Eco softens the throttle and stretches range. We set Eco for new riders at handover.
What is the suspension travel?
200 mm at the customized front fork and 210 mm at the rear wheel through the INTERSECT TR linkage, with both rebound and compression damping adjustable. Ground clearance is 10.6 in (270 mm).
What are the brakes?
Hydraulic disc brakes with upgraded one-piece integral calipers and 203 mm rotors, plus motor regen in Sports mode. Our technicians service them in the shop.
What is a dual-Hall throttle?
An electronic throttle with two Hall sensors instead of one, for more linear, more sensitive response and a safety redundancy if one sensor fails.
How tall is the seat, and how heavy is it?
The seat is 32.7 in (830 mm). It weighs 99 lbs (45 kg) without the battery and 123 lbs (56 kg) with it. Come sit on it at any of our shops.
What colors does it come in?
This is the Phantom Purple special edition with decals, mudguards and a chain guard. Ask in the shop about other Light Bee X colors we can order.
Does it connect to an app?
Yes, where available: the Surron app connection and on-board GPS terminal give you ride information, remote settings and location.
Is it street legal?
The Light Bee X is sold as an off-road electric dirt bike. Road use depends on your state's registration rules; ask in the shop and we will explain what applies where you ride.
Can I test ride it first, and is there a warranty?
Yes to both. Come to any of our shops and get on the Light Bee X before you decide. It is covered for one year on the brands we carry, handled in our shops by our own technicians.
Is financing available, and where do I get it serviced?
